Sentry Restoration

We founded Sentry Restoration on the basic principle of providing the best service, quality, and attention to detail that you hope for when you hire a local company. We are graduates of the University of Georgia, and we value the community of Athens, GA. Our mission is to make every customer feel as though we made a difference when they needed us most.

Sentry Restoration is a limited liability company that performs commercial and residential water restoration, mold removal and remediation, fire and smoke damage restoration, biohazard removal and clean up, and infectious disease disinfection.

Headquartered in Athens, GA the company provides expert services throughout northeast Georgia. The company was built by trained, dedicated and caring individuals who are involved in every aspect of the daily operations and job process.
 
Sentry Restoration is a fully licensed and insured IICRC Certified Firm and is also licensed with the Georgia State Licensing Board for Contractors as a Home Improvement Contractor and Mold Remediation Contractor. We welcome the opportunity to meet with you.

President

Valentina serves as President of Sentry Restoration, providing executive leadership and strategic oversight of the company’s day-to-day operations. With more than 20 years of business management experience, she brings a strong background in organizational leadership, financial management, and operational excellence. Valentina holds a degree in Accounting, providing the financial expertise and business acumen that help guide the company’s continued growth and success.

As President, Valentina works closely with clients, insurance professionals, and the Sentry Restoration team to ensure projects are managed efficiently from the initial emergency response through mitigation, restoration, and reconstruction. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach help ensure every project is completed to the highest standards of quality and care.

Valentina is committed to building lasting relationships with customers, employees, and business partners while continually improving company operations and service excellence. Her leadership helps drive Sentry Restoration’s mission of restoring properties, minimizing disruption, and providing peace of mind to homeowners and businesses throughout Northeast Georgia.

Oleg Taran

Managing Partner

Oleg brings more than 20 years of construction experience, specializing in hotel renovations and the reconstruction of hotel properties following fire, water, storm, and other insured losses. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed projects ranging from minor repairs and facility upgrades to complex, full-building renovations for nationally and internationally recognized hotel brands. This extensive experience has given him a comprehensive understanding of quality construction, project management, and delivering exceptional results while minimizing disruptions in occupied and operating facilities.

At Sentry Restoration, Oleg works closely with homeowners, business owners, insurance professionals, and the restoration team to ensure every project is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. His expertise in managing both emergency reconstruction and large-scale renovation projects enables him to develop practical, cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality, schedules, and budgets.
